Harry Potter & the Cursed Child Midnight Release

JOIN US FOR A VERY SPECIAL MIDNIGHT RELEASE CELEBRATION

Cover_transparentTHE EIGHTH STORY. NINETEEN YEARS LATER.

On July 21st, 2007, we pulled out all the stops to celebrate the release of Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows, opening our doors at midnight so that eager fans could be among the first to get their hands on their own copy of the final book in the Harry Potter saga. As that evening wound to a close, we believed it would be the last such Harry Potter release celebration we’d hold.

We were wrong.

Nine years after the release of the final novel in the series, Harry Potter & the Cursed Child – a stage play based on an all-new original story by J K Rowling – is coning to our shelves as a special, rehearsal edition script. This new story, set nineteen years after Deathly Hallows, marks the first new major content in the Harry Potter universe in almost a decade.

If you, like thousands of other eager Harry Potter fans, can’t wait to see this new story, then you can join right here at Bolen Books on JULY 31ST at 12:01 AM to get your copy the minute it’s on sale. There’ll be entertainment while you wait, and then, when the clock strikes 12:01 AM, the eighth story can finally be yours.

THE DETAILS! When? July 31st at 12:01 AM (Yes, you can line up early. In fact, we encourage it). Where? The front doors of Bolen Books at Hillside Centre. How? Very soon, we’ll be pre-selling copies of Harry Potter & the Cursed Child. You can pay in advance, come in at midnight on the 31st, and pick up your books. Pre-sale details to come.

See in store for further details.

The Magic is Back on July 31st.

Bolen Books in Monday Magazine

Have you picked up a copy of May’s Monday Magazine? Fantastic cover and a great article about Bolen Books in this issue.

cover“Bolen Books celebrated its 40th anniversary last year, mounting a massive carnival-style party to mark the occasion. The now 20,000 square-foot store – one of the largest independent bookstores in the country – had humbler beginnings when it was started by Mel Bolen in 1975.”
